Mahindra Thar 4X2
The highly regarded Mahindra Thar SUV will soon be available in more economical 4X2 versions from the homegrown automaker. One of the most anticipated new Mahindra SUVs that will be on sale in January 2023 is this one. According to reports, both the current 2.0L gasoline engine and the new 117bhp, 1.5L diesel engine will be available for the Thar 4X2 variant. The latter will have a 6-speed manual transmission, while the former will have a 5-speed manual gearbox. The new 1.5L diesel, 2WD off-road SUV is anticipated to cost approximately Rs 10 lakh.
Mahindra XUV400
Mahindra auto’s first fully electrical SUV will be the Mahindra XUV400. According to the sources, the three variants of SUVs that are supposed to be introduced are EL, EP, and Base – the prices range from Rs. 17 lacs to Rs. 20 lacs. The new Mahindra electric SUV will have a 39.5kWh Li-ion battery pack that produces a torque of 310Nm and gives out 148bhp energy. The XUV400, according to Mahindra, has a range of 456 kilometers on a single charge, outpacing Tata Nexon EV Max, its primary opponent. It has a peak speed of 150 kmph and can go from 0 to 100 mph in 8.3 seconds.

Mahindra Thar 5 Door
On Thursday, January 26, 2023—the 73rd Republic Day—the 5-door Mahindra Thar is going to be introduced. The vehicle, which is simply the 3-door Thar with an increased wheelbase and longer wheelbase, may get a new name. It will be 15% longer than the smaller versions from the same automakers. The same 2.0L mStallion petrol and 2.2L mHawk diesel engines are probably going to power the SUV. However, the automaker may fine-tune both motors to produce more power. 4X4 and 4X2 variants might be available for the 5-door Thar.
