As everyone knows, Honda Cars India is developing two new SUVs to compete with the Maruti Brezza and the Hyundai Creta for supremacy in the sub-4 meter and mid-size SUV markets, respectively. In fact, the automaker has declared that the summer of 2023 would mark the introduction of its first SUV. The market debut of this SUV is most probably to take place around the holiday season this year. In 2024, the well-liked Amaze small car will receive a generational upgrade from the Japanese automaker.

Honda Amaze
A recent media claim suggests that the Honda Amaze-2024 may be built on an updated version of its current platform. The newly launched Honda mid-size SUV will utilize the same architecture. The brand-new Amaze is anticipated to receive substantial visual updates. It’s possible that the (global-spec) Accord and the new City served as design influences for the small sedan.

The new HR-V SUV and Accord may potentially share some of the Interior’s features. A free-standing touchscreen infotainment system with the most recent smartphone connectivity and a fresh interior design is anticipated to be included in the redesigned 2024 Honda Amaze.

With features like a rear armrest with a cup holder, LED fog lamps, LED projector headlamps, automatic climate control, cruise control, a rearview camera with guidelines, an engine start/stop button, tilt-adjustable steering, a speed-sensing auto door lock function, and 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, the current generation model is equipped. The newly launched Honda Amaze 2024 will maintain the aforementioned attributes.

The brand-new Honda Amaze’s engine configuration is believed to contain a 1.2-L, 4 cylinders gasoline engine with a naturally aspirated gasoline unit. The motor can produce 110 Nm of torque and 90 bhp of peak power. The two available transmissions, a CVT automatic and a 5-speed manual will also be the same. Due to forthcoming RDE requirements that will go into effect in April 2023, the 1.5-L diesel engine would no longer be produced.
