At the recently finished Auto Expo 2023, the close-to-production version of the all-new Tata Sierra made its maiden appearance in public for the first time. The manufacturer has stated that its next model will be available in 2025 with a choice of powertrains, including gasoline and electric. It is anticipated that the exhibited model will serve as the basis for the majority of the SUV’s design components and features.

Tata Sierra Interior

Tata Sierra EV range
The appropriate configuration of the new Sierra SUV, which was just put on display, comes with four doors. The two-tone alloy wheels seem like they are production-ready. The manufacturer of automobiles has preserved some of the Sierra’s most recognizable design features, such as the body-colored B-pillar. The C-pillar and the back part give the appearance of a glass home.

The next generation of the Tata Sierra SUV will be built on the Gen 2 (Sigma) platform, with a length of around 4.3 m. This hybrid architecture is a monocoque design that can handle internal combustion engines (ICE) and electric powertrains. The gasoline version may come standard with Tata’s brand-new 1.5-liter, 4-cylinder turbo engine, which will provide power in the neighborhood of 170 horsepower.
Its advanced features also provide you with an option of getting it with either an automatic or a manual transmission. It’s possible that the automaker will make available a dual-clutch automatic gearbox (DCT) for the Sierra gasoline model.

Although the automaker has not yet divulged the EV’s specs, a battery pack with a capacity of 60 kWh is anticipated to be included. On a single charge, it will have a range of around 500 km. The all-wheel drive technology may be an option for the brand-new Tata Sierra EV. The gasoline-powered version of the vehicle, on the other hand, will be offered only in RWD configuration.
