This year, Maruti Suzuki MPV will introduce its most costly vehicle to India. The Toyota Innova Hycross, which began on sale in late 2022, will serve as the model’s basis. The brand’s first rebadged Toyota is expected to hit the market during the holiday season of 2023. The new Maruti MPV would rank above the XL6, which sells for between Rs. 11.41 lacs and Rs. 14.67 lacs, in the company’s product portfolio (all, ex-showroom).

The three-row MPV is anticipated to cost between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 30 lakh in the price range. Because of its high quality, it will be sold through the Nexa dealership network. The vehicle will be manufactured at Toyota’s Bidadi plant, which is also home to the Grand Vitara SUV.
The next Maruti Suzuki MPV will have a little different design than the Innova Hycross. It could have a brand-new grille, headlight assembly, and bumper. It’s interesting to note that this Maruti Suzuki vehicle will be the first to use ADAS technology. Safety technologies including lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitor, rear cross-traffic warning, and a pre-collision system will be available in the suite.

Maruti’s new MPV may come standard with traction control, six airbags, an antilock braking system with electronic brake-force distribution, an electronic stability program, and other safety features, similar to the Toyota Innova Hycross. Two seating options will be available to buyers: 7 and 8 chairs. The 2nd row of the former will feature two captain’s chairs with ottomans, while the 2nd and 3rd rows of the latter would have benches.
The same 2.0-L, 4 cylinders Atkinson cycle hybrid (184 bhp, electric Drive transmission) and 2.0-L gasoline unit (172 bhp/205 Nm, a CVT gearbox) from the Innova Hycross shall be used for the powertrain combination. Strong hybrid technology in the MPV will result in mileage exceeding 23.24 km.
