Maruti Brezza CNG
At the currently ongoing Auto Expo 2023, Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) has shown the CNG version of its Maruti Brezza CNG subcompact SUV, which is one of the company’s best sellers. When it goes on sale in the nation, it will be the Indo-Japanese automaker’s second CNG SUV model in that category. Pricing information for the 2023 Maruti Brezza CNG has not yet been released.
The 1.5L K15C gasoline engine that serves in service in the normal model is included in the powertrain configuration of the SUV as well. Nevertheless, a CNG conversion kit was installed during manufacturing and coupled with this unit. The configuration can produce a maximum of 88PS of power and 121.5Nm of torque while operating in CNG mode.
The base gasoline engine has a maximum output power of 102 brake horsepower and 137 Newton meters of torque. The standard gasoline model of the Brezza has somewhat higher power and torque statistics than the CNG variant, but the CNG version gets a much better mileage economy.

The CNG SUV would have a mileage-to-weight ratio of 27 kilometers per kilogram. According to the manufacturer, the regular Maruti Brezza petrol engine achieves a mileage of 19.80 kilometers per liter (km) when paired with an automatic transmission and 20.15 kilometers per liter when paired with a manual gearbox.
There has been no announcement on the Maruti Brezza CNG’s official specifications. According to the information that was discovered to have been compromised, the factory-installed CNG kit will be made available for all of the models in the range.
It is possible that both automatic and manual transmissions will be made available as choices for this product. There will be seven different CNG models available from the manufacturer, including the CNG ZXI 5T/6T, CNG ZXI 5MT/6AT, CNG LXI 5MT, and CNG VXI 5MT/6AT. Buyers will have to make concessions in terms of the amount of space available for their baggage as a CNG kit is installed in the trunk.
