On the 10th of February in 2023, the one-of-a-kind Mahindra XUV400, a customized version of the Mahindra XUV400 EV SUV, will be put up for auction. Buyers who are interested may sign up for an online auction the commencement of which will be happening at 11 a.m. on the 26th of January and continue until the 31st of January.

Anand Mahindra, Chairman of the Mahindra Group, will personally hand over the keys to the one-of-a-kind XUV400 to the successful bidder. The money raised via the auction will be given to a charitable organization and divided up among those who have won the Mahindra Sustainability Award.

Chief Design Officer of Mahindra, Pratap Bose, and Rimzim Dadu, a fashion designer, worked together to design the one-of-a-kind XUV400. The model has been painted in a unique shade of blue, and it has copper highlights on the front of the body. A blue accent can be seen around the twin-peaks emblem of Mahindra, as well as on the integrated badge on the bonnet, the boot lid, and the C-pillar.

The Mahindra XUV400 Exclusive edition has the same general layout inside as the standard vehicle, as do the majority of its amenities. However, it has been updated with new upholstery that has copper stitching as well as the ‘Rimzim Dadu x Bose’ branding on the rear armrest and the headrests.

The latest electric SUV offered by Mahindra, the XUV400, may be purchased with either a 39.4 kWh or a 34.5 kWh battery pack. An electric motor that is positioned on the front axle is powered by both of the engines. The electric motor is said to have a power output of 150 bhp and 310 Nm of torque.

It takes 8.3 seconds for it to get from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour, and it can reach a peak speed of 150 kilometers per hour. There are three different driving modes included in the electric SUV: Fast, Fun, and Fearless. The responsiveness of the steering and throttle, as well as the amount of regenerative braking, may be adjusted using all of the modes.

The new Mahindra electric SUV has a battery pack that has a capacity of 34.5 kWh, and the company claims that it has a range of 375 km. The model with the larger battery claims to have a range of 456 km on a single charge. It is important to remember that the aforementioned range estimates were calculated using the Indian driving cycle (MIDC).

The battery pack of the SUV can be charged from 0% – 80% capacity using a 50 kW DC fast charger in a period of 50 minutes. If you use a 7.2 kW charger, it will take 6 hours and 30 minutes to completely charge, but if you use a 3.3 kW AC charger, it would take 13 hours.
