Land Cruiser 300
At the 2023 Auto Expo, Japanese automaker Toyota debuted the new Land Cruiser 300 SUV. The starting price for the brand-new Toyota Land Cruiser 300 full-sized SUV is Rs 2.17 crore (ex-showroom), and the SUV’s on-road price is roughly Rs 2.5 crore. It will compete with vehicles like the Range Rover and the Lexus LX. Along with the Land Cruiser, Toyota also displayed various iterations of the Innova Hycross MPV and its other international models, such as the BZ4X electric SUV, Mirai, Corolla Cross FCEV, and Corolla Flex-Fuel.

In August 2022, licenced dealerships began accepting reservations for the new Toyota Land Cruiser 300 in exchange for a symbolic payment of Rs 10 lakh. Toyota, however, is not making any reservations for the LC300 since the initial batch of the new SUV has already been sold. With the SUV, Toyota is providing a 3-year/ 1-lakh km warranty.

Despite having significantly updated styling, the older LC200’s original shape and feel are carried over to the newer Land Cruiser 300. Inside the cabin, the company has made significant changes, including a brand-new dashboard. The new LC 300 has a host of innovations, including a head-up display, and a 14.2-speaker KBL audio system.

A fingerprint authentication system, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. Toyota offers the SUV three upholstery colours, including Black, Beige, and dual-tone Red and Black, in addition to five exterior paint colours.

The brand’s new GA-F platform, which kept the body-on-frame construction, serves as the foundation for the next-generation LC 300. It is propelled by a 10-speed automatic transmission and a 3.3-litre turbo V6 diesel engine with 305 bhp. It is stated to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in only 6.7 seconds. The SUV has an approach angle of 32 degrees and a departure angle of 26.5 degrees. It comes equipped with a 4 x 4 drivetrain system and has a 230 mm ground clearance. It adds a Multi-Terrain Monitor system and a more sophisticated multi-terrain choose system with Auto, Snow, and Deep modes.
