Upcoming cars in March: With at least ten significant new car launches planned for March, the Indian automobile sector is set to have a very busy month. The Nexon, Harrier, and Safari SUVs’ Red Dark Editions and upgraded versions have previously been confirmed by Tata Motors.
Prices for the Brezza CNG and Fronx small crossovers will be revealed by Maruti Suzuki. The new-gen Hyundai Verna is to begin driving on March 21, 2023, while the revised Honda City will be on sale on March 2. The first mass-market electric vehicle from Citroen will also be available in dealerships. These models’ salient features are listed below.

Honda City Facelift
The 1.5-L Atkinson cycle and 1.5-L gasoline engines with Honda’s e: HEV hybrid tech powertrain choices will be available in the redesigned City car. Both motors will receive updates from the automaker to meet E20 and RDE requirements. The gasoline hybrid arrangement will be made accessible on new, reasonably priced models with the mid-life upgrade. The sedan will get ventilated seats with wireless chargers and upgraded touchscreen infotainment.

Tata Harrier Tata Safari
Reservations for the Tata Safari and Harrier SUVs for 2023 have already begun in India. A new 10.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS), a 360 degrees camera, and a revised instrument cluster will all be available on the upgraded variants. The 2.0L turbo diesel engine, which can produce 170 bhp and 350 Nm, will still be used in the new Safari and Harrier.

TATA Red Dark Editions
The first teaser for the future Nexon, Harrier, and Safari Red Dark Editions was unveiled by Tata Motors. Oberon Black paint and red highlights on the brake calipers and grille are anticipated to be standard on all variants. The Safari Red Dark Edition and Harrier will have 18 inches alloy wheels. There will be quilted Carnelian crimson seat fabric inside. Together with the upgrades that will be included in their revised versions, both SUVs shall also receive the ADAS suite. But the engine configuration will stay the same.

New generation Hyundai Verna
The Hyundai Verna is scheduled for sale on March 21, 2023. The sedan and Hyundai’s “Sensuous Sportiness” design language will have considerable aesthetic upgrades. Its double-layer headlight configuration resembles that of the brand-new Grandeur car.

Integrated full LED headlights, a new parametric jewel-pattern grille, a curved roof, multi-spoke diamond cut alloys, and an “H-Tail Lamp” are further highlights of the redesigned Verna. There will be 2 dual-tone color options and 7 single-color variants. It will also gain a tonne of new features and the ADAS suite. The two 1.5L NA and turbocharged gasoline engines shall be used in the engine arrangement.

Maruti Fronx
The Maruti Suzuki Fronx is going to be the company’s response to the Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger. A 1.0-L, 3 cylinders turbo Boosterjet gasoline engine and a 1.2-L, 4 cylinders normally aspirated gasoline engine will also be offered for the small crossover.
The former generates 90 bhp with 113 Nm of peak power, while the latter gives 100 bhp with 147.6 Nm. Only higher grades will have features like leather-wrapped steering, a SmartPlay Pro 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 360-degree camera, cruise control, and a head-up display.

Maruti Brezza CNG
The Maruti Brezza CNG debuted at the 2018 Auto Expo. All of the SUV model lineups are reportedly provided with the factory-fitted CNG kit. A 1.5-L K 15 C gasoline engine and a CNG kit will be included with the model. It has a maximum output of 88 PS and 121.5 Nm of torque. The Brezza CNG is expected to have a 27 km/kg fuel economy.

Citroen EC3
In 2023-March, prices for the Citroen eC3 electric hatchback would be revealed. Two trims—Live and Feel—will be available for the vehicle lineup. A 29.2 kWh battery pack and an electric motor producing 57 Nm and 143 Nm of torque will be shared by both models.
The EV has a top speed of 107 mph and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under 6.8 seconds. Two driving modes—Standard and Eco—are available on the eC3. Regenerative braking will increase the vehicle’s fuel economy. The 320 km ARAI-certified range is claimed for the new Citroen electric vehicle on a single charge.
